How To Store/ Make Ahead

Store in the fridge in a mason jar or air-tight container for up to 2 weeks. To freeze: Pour leftover syrup into an ice cube tray then transfer frozen syrup ice cubes into a freezer safe bag. They’re good frozen for up to 3 months.

Tips and Tricks

If you are using frozen strawberries, give them a mash about half way through the cooking process so they release more of their flavor into the syrup. Add a few extra minutes to cooking time since frozen berries will take longer to cook.
