Equipment

  • Ninja Creami Ice Cream Machine
  • Ninja Creami Pint Containers
  • Reusable Ice Cream Storage Containers
  • Paper Ice Cream Storage Containers

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 pinches ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • Add milk and honey to a Ninja Creami pint container. Stir until the honey has dissolved. Next stir in vanilla bean paste, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cream until combined. (Ground cinnamon likes to float on top of liquids, just mix it as much as you can)
  • Top the pit container with the lid then freeze on a level surface for 22 - 24 hours.
  • Remove the lid then place it inside the Ninja Creami outer bowl then insert into the machine. Press the “Ice Cream” button then allow it to run through then cycle. This takes about 2 minutes.
  • Respin with a splash of milk or cream if crumbly until it reaches your desired consistency. Enjoy!
  • Note: honey doesn’t freeze completely in the freezer so this ninja creami ice cream will have a softer texture than typical ice cream recipes. Because of this we like to enjoy this ice cream in an insulated cup so it stays colder for longer!

Notes

How To Store/ Make Ahead

Frozen unblended pints will last in the freezer for 2-3 months. After blending 1 - 2 months. Sometimes they can become freezerburnt or super icy if left in the freezer after blending for too long.

Store blended ice cream in reusable ice cream containers or these paper ice cream containers. So you can save your ninja creami pint containers for more ice cream creations.

Tips and Tricks

  • If your ice cream isn’t smooth after the first cycle through the machine, run it through the RE-SPIN cycle with a splash of cream or milk until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • Serving ideas: drizzle of honey or with honey wafers.
