Tips and Tricks
Ranch dressing will thicken in the fridge. Whisk in a bit more dairy free milk or pickle juice until it reaches your desired consistency.
This dairy free ranch dressing is made without sour cream to keep it dairy free. You can add a bit of your favorite non-dairy sour cream to make it a bit richer and creamier. Or leave it out!
Make vegan ranch dressing by swapping out the mayo for vegan mayo.
If you want to use fresh herbs. Parsley - use 1 tablespoon finely chopped, dill weed - use ½ teaspoon finely chopped, chives - use 1 tablespoon finely chopped.
Pickle juice - this might seem like a weird ingredient to add but I find it really makes this ranch dressing taste like ranch.
Make a big batch of the dry ranch mix by using this recipe so you can easily make ranch dressing whenever you want. Use 1 tablespoon for this recipe. It’s dairy free and made without buttermilk powder.
